What affiliate links are

An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a retailer you arrived via this site. If you then make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small commission – typically 1–8% of the sale value, depending on the programme. The price you pay is identical to visiting the retailer directly; the commission comes out of the retailer's marketing budget, not your pocket.

Which links are affiliate links

Affiliate links on this site include, but may not be limited to:

• Amazon UK – some Amazon links on this site are part of the Amazon Associates programme. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
• Other retailers – buy links on flavour pages and deal cards may use retailer-specific affiliate programmes. Where this is the case, the page notes it with “affiliate link” or a similar label.

Links to the store locator search results, OpenStreetMap, and any retailer listed purely as a local stockist (i.e. not via a buy button) are not affiliate links.

What affiliate links don't affect

Affiliate relationships have no influence over:

• Which stores appear in postcode search results – those come from OpenStreetMap data.
• Which retailers are listed as confirmed UK stockists – that's based on independent verification.
• The content of flavour descriptions, advice articles, or reviews.
• Our heat ratings, dietary information, or price comparisons.

We do not accept payment for editorial coverage or positive reviews. If a retailer provides a product sample or sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled as such.

Regulatory compliance

This site complies with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidelines on affiliate marketing disclosure, and with the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) rules on endorsements and testimonials where applicable to US visitors.
