Five chains carry Takis officially as of 2026. Each has a different range, price point, and reliability.

All Takis sold through the confirmed UK stockists below are the official UK product, manufactured and distributed by Barcel UK and priced like a regular crisp.

Takis at Morrisons

The most broadly available in-store option. Most Morrisons carry Fuego and Blue Heat in the mainstream crisps aisle rather than a specialist world foods section, and Intense Nacho now shows up on their website too. Stock levels are generally reliable, and larger stores occasionally carry additional flavours.

Takis at Co-op

Available in a growing number of branches. Medium-to-large format Co-ops are the more reliable bet; smaller convenience stores are less likely to stock them. Prices are broadly in line with Morrisons. Co-op is also currently the only confirmed UK stockist for Takis Volcano, the cheese-and-chilli flavour.

Takis at Aldi

Stocks Takis periodically as a Special Buy rather than a permanent range item. You may find them one week and not the next. When they are in, pricing is competitive. Check the Aldi website for current Special Buy listings before making a trip.

Takis at Farmfoods

Often well stocked, and usually the cheapest in-store option we've found. If there's a Farmfoods near you, it's typically the best combination of availability and price for the standard flavours.

Takis at Iceland

Carries the widest in-store range of any UK supermarket. Alongside Fuego and Blue Heat you will usually find Intense Nacho and Smokin' BBQ (also available through Ocado), with Crunchy Fajitas also historically stocked, though confirm that in branch. If you want to try flavours beyond the basics without ordering online, Iceland is the place to go.

Other Sightings: Nisa Local and Heron Foods

Beyond the five confirmed chains, Takis has also turned up at Nisa Local and Heron Foods shops. Neither is a confirmed stockist in the way the five above are: Nisa Local shops are independently owned, so range varies store to store, and while we've only personally visited one Heron Foods shop, the 'NEW' branding on the bag suggests a proper chain-wide rollout rather than a one-off.

If either is your nearest shop, have a look, but don't plan a special trip around it the way you could with Morrisons or Farmfoods.

Price Comparison: How Much Do Takis Cost?

Prices vary between retailers, and the gap between the cheapest (Farmfoods/Aldi) and the pricier options (Co-op/Morrisons full price) is usually around 30–50p per bag, which adds up if you buy regularly. Here's how retailers compare based on typical 2026 pricing:

Why do Takis cost more at some shops?

At major UK supermarkets, Takis are priced in line with other premium crisp brands. Where the cost can feel steep is at American candy shops and online import specialists, where a standard bag often reaches £3–£5. That premium reflects sourcing stock from the US or Canada, international shipping, import duties, and smaller order volumes.

The flavours sold at UK supermarkets are officially distributed by Barcel UK and manufactured to a UK-specific recipe: they aren't imports, which is why the price is significantly lower. If you're seeing a high price, you're almost certainly looking at a US import rather than the official UK product.

Takis have a reasonably long shelf life: most bags carry a best-before date 6–9 months from manufacture. Store them in a cool, dry place and reseal the bag after opening. They go soft quickly once exposed to air.

UK Takis Flavours: A Full Breakdown

There are 15 Takis flavours available to UK buyers right now between the five supermarket chains that sell them, the online import specialists, and the odd independent sighting. In order of intensity:

• Intense Nacho: The mildest option. Nacho cheese seasoning with no significant heat. An easy entry point for anyone heat-averse or buying for mixed groups. Long an Iceland line, and it now shows up on Morrisons' website too, so ask at your local branch.
• Xtreme Lime: Pure, sharp lime with zero heat and no chilli at all. A US import rather than a UK supermarket line; Amazon UK and specialist importers are the reliable sources.
• Buckin' Ranch: Cool, creamy ranch seasoning with zero heat, the most neutral flavour in the range. Another US import, available through Amazon UK and specialist importers.
• Guacamole: Avocado and lime with a mild kick, sometimes listed as "Huakamole" by importers. US import only, contains dairy, and reliably found through Amazon UK and specialist importers.
• Smokin' BBQ: Deep smoky barbecue flavour with mild heat. Stocked at Iceland and Ocado, around £3 for a 180g bag, in line with other 180g Takis flavours.
• Crunchy Fajitas: Mild-to-medium heat with a smoky, savoury fajita seasoning (bell pepper, onion, mild chilli). More about flavour complexity than heat intensity. A good second step after Intense Nacho for those building tolerance. Historically an Iceland line, so ask in branch, as it's not always showing in their online search.
• Dragon Sweet Chilli: Sweet chilli seasoning with a gentle warmth that builds into real heat. Can be tricky to find in-store; Amazon UK is the most reliable source.
• Volcano: Melted cheese seasoning with a proper chilli warmth behind it, Hot (3/5) on Barcel's scale. Currently a Co-op exclusive in the UK, around £2 for a 100g bag.
• Jalapeño: Fresh, grassy jalapeño heat rather than Fuego's dried-chilli intensity. A US and Canadian import, not stocked in UK supermarkets; specialist importers and Amazon UK carry it.
• Teriyaki: Sweet, savoury teriyaki seasoning with Medium heat on the pack's own gauge. New to us – first spotted at a Heron Foods shop, not yet confirmed at any other UK retailer.
• Kaboom Ketchup & Sriracha: Tomato ketchup and sriracha chilli, rated 4 out of 5 for heat. First spotted at Home Bargains and since listed at Iceland, though stock varies.
• Fuego: The original and the one that built the brand. Chilli and lime with a proper heat punch. The tight rolled tube shape holds the seasoning differently to a flat crisp, which makes the flavour hit harder per bite. Available at all five confirmed UK stockists.
• Blue Heat: Hot chilli without the lime. The heat profile is more direct than Fuego and runs hotter. The blue colouring is an intentional talking point. Available at most of the main UK stockists.
• Zombie: Habanero and cucumber, a seasonal Halloween release that's built a cult following. US and Canadian import only, and stock can be patchy outside its autumn window; specialist importers are the best bet.
• Nitro: The most intense flavour we cover. Like Zombie, the other import rated Extreme, it isn't sold in UK shops. Habanero chilli and lime, a combination that builds serious heat rather than hitting immediately. Available from online retailers such as Amazon UK and American Fizz.

Buying Takis Online in the UK

These four online retailers are the ones we use most for UK orders:

• Amazon UK: The most convenient option and the best for bulk buying. Individual bags are available, but the real value is in multipacks. The 18-bag variety box (Fuego, Blue Heat, Nitro and Crunchy Fajitas in 28g snack bags) works out at around £2.33 per bag. Amazon Prime members get free delivery, which matters when shipping individual crisp bags would otherwise cost nearly as much as the product itself. Search Takis on Amazon UK Ad.
• Candymail: A good source for the import flavours not sold in UK supermarkets, including Jalapeño, Zombie, Xtreme Lime, Buckin' Ranch, and Guacamole. UK-based with domestic delivery, so it's usually the fastest turnaround of any importer.
• American Fizz: A UK-based American snack specialist that stocks a range of UK Takis flavours plus rotating limited editions, and a solid backup for the import flavours too. Per-bag pricing is higher than supermarkets (typically £3–£5 for a standard bag), but the range is the widest reliably available online.
• So Sweet Shop: Another UK-based American candy specialist with UK delivery, stocking the core Takis flavours including Fuego, Blue Heat, Intense Nacho, and Buckin' Ranch.

Online vs In-Store: Which Is Better?

In-store wins on price for the core flavours if you have a Farmfoods or Aldi nearby. At £1.49–£1.59 per standard bag, the per-unit cost is hard to beat online unless you're buying a large multipack. No delivery wait, no minimum spend, and no packaging waste from a shipment.

Online wins on range and convenience. If you want Nitro, which isn't currently stocked in UK supermarkets, or a specific flavour Iceland doesn't have nearby, ordering from Amazon or a specialist is more practical than a long detour.

Online also makes sense for bulk buying: a multipack from Amazon can match or undercut in-store per-bag pricing once delivery is absorbed, particularly for Prime members. Specialists like American Fizz, Candymail, and So Sweet Shop give you options that no single supermarket can match.
